After high school, Lars was drafted into the military where he performed his basic military service of nine months within the Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards) An infantry regiment in the Danish army. After the completion of his military service Lars decided that it was not what he wanted and began seeking out something else. He then chose to pursue a degree in biology. While he was occupied with this half-year course, Anette came home from one of her classes and showed him how good she could play juggling in just three days. Lars was delighted and was determined to try it. Therefore, he quit college and attended the juggler's academy. He learned fire breathing and Juggling at this school. Then he went on tour with two fellow performers across Europe and performed on streets of cities like Paris, Munich, Moscow and Warsaw. He was introduced to a kids' circus two more years after. He also learned street and children's theater pantomime.
