Miesha Theresa
Miesha Theresa Tate is an American mixed martial art pundit. She is also a veteran of mixed martial art. Tate was an athlete in Ultimate Fighting Championships as well as being an UFC Women's Bantamweight champion. In her earliest school years she Tacoma native was very athletic. After a recommendation from an acquaintance, when she was in Central Washington University she began to participate in the mixed martial art group. In her amateur debut, she took on Elizabeth Posener (a Muay Thai master) aged 20. She made her debut as a professional fighter at the HOOKnSHOOT Women's One-Night Grand Prix in 2007. She won her first FCF Women's Bantamweight Championship after two years. Tate's fighting style focused on wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. It received a lot of recognition and admiration. Then, her fame increased when she was the first woman to be awarded the Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Championship. She has modeled not only for mixed martial arts, but additionally for several websites and magazines such as 'ESPN The Magazine' and Fitness Gurls. Additionally she has a character that can be played within EA Sports UFC.
