Vinita Nair

In July of 2004, she joined the station covering a number of stories, such as investigating the murder of Jon Benet Ramsey and the shootings in Bailey, Colorado. Nair joined ABC News as an anchor/correspondent for ABC News Now in December 2007. To fulfill her duties as a reporter, she offered live news and briefings to ABC's channel. Nair was co-anchoring World News Now on ABC since September 17, 2008. up to the 18th of February, 2011, and America This Morning. She co-hosted with Jeremy Hubbard and later Rob Nelson for both of the shows. Nair made it clear on Thursday 17 February 2011, her last night hosting on World News Now would be on Friday, February 18th. The same day would also mark her last day with ABC News. The former KDVR Denver anchor Peggy Bunker was her replacement immediately. In the February 18 issue of World News Now paid tribute to Nair in all three segments. The show also included appearances from former and present colleagues, including Jeremy Hubbard. On her final day she treated her entire team to breakfast. Vinita Vinita Vinita Vinita
