Antonina Shevchenko

Shevchenko took a break from MMA in order to concentrate on boxing. She made her return to fight Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko beat Anissa with a unanimous vote before she fought Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She quit the club in the year 2018 and joined Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko knocked out Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina used her superior fighting techniques in order to TKO Nievera in the clinch with knees and body. Antonina's UFC contract was re-extended following this victory. Antonina was able to make her UFC debut during the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale with Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko lost to Roxanne modafferi by split decision following her first fight. Antonina bounced right back after the defeat and beat Lucie Pudddilova on UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission during the second round. The bout earned Antonina the Bonus Fight of the Night. Shevchenko went 1-2 over the next three fights, defeating Ariane Lipski and falling to Katlyn Chookagian, and Andrea Lee. Antonina was recently defeated by Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
